Well... erm... I decided to draw my glasses! I wanted just to practise my observational drawing skills a little more. I don't think I'm too good at shading or being very neat, so it's a little difficult to make out the lighter parts. Just to explain, the right side of my glasses for some reason likes to tilt and doesn't actually touch the surface. As you can see, I attempted at drawing the shadows of it too.

I was thinking of starting a project, where I would make some sort of surreal painting based off of myself (hobbies, interests, etc...) and I had a few ideas how I would include this.

I really like this drawing. It's really good, I think. I can never draw glass or a clear object.

One thing that is bothering me though is.. ah, not sure what it is called. The part that holds the glasses up by the ears (if you understand me) farther out is bigger than the one closer in.
I don't know if that's really how it looked but to me it just looks a little funny.

Good drawing though!

Thanks! I can't usually draw glass... to be honest, this is the second drawing I've done with glass in it. I barely ever do any observational drawing. There was bound to be some sort of mistake-- room for improvement, at least. I usually do accidentally draw things a little out of proportion.
